Slash commands

In the interactive terminal UI (lily with no arguments), type / to bring up the command menu. Slash commands control the session, your account, and how the agent works — everything you can't say to the agent in plain language.

Type /help at any time for the built-in list. This page is the full reference, grouped by what each command is for.

Session & conversation

Command	What it does
`/help`	Show help and keyboard shortcuts.
`/clear`	Clear the conversation history.
`/compact`	Compact the context — summarize the conversation to free up room.
`/rewind`	Rewind the conversation to an earlier message. `/rewind` lists messages, `/rewind N` drops everything after message N, `/rewind undo` restores them.
`/context`	Show the full session context snapshot.
`/transcript`	Open the current session's transcript file.
`/export`	Save this conversation to a file.
`/quit`	Exit Lily.

/rewind rewinds the conversation, not your files — it doesn't undo edits the agent already made on disk.

Sessions

Command	What it does
`/resume`	Open the session picker to reopen a past session.
`/rename`	Rename the current session.
`/save`	Bookmark the session for easy access.
`/unsave`	Remove the bookmark.
`/fork`	Fork the session into a new window (optionally with a prompt).

Model & reasoning

Command	What it does
`/model`	List or switch Pathvela models.
`/reasoning` (or `/thinking`)	Show or change how reasoning is displayed (off / full / current).
`/plan`	Produce a plan-only response, rendered as a plan card. Add a goal: `/plan <goal>`.

/plan is a one-shot — it gives you a plan for the current request; it isn't a persistent "planning mode" you switch in and out of.

Working in your project

Command	What it does
`/diff`	Cycle or set the diff display mode (off / inline / full / pinned / file).
`/git`	Show git status for the working directory.
`/commit`	Make logical commits from your current changes.
`/commit-push`	Make commits, then push.
`/test`	Verify a claim or your current changes with layered tests.
`/review`	Launch a one-shot review of your changes.
`/fix`	Recover when the model can't continue.
`/improve`	Autonomously improve the repository.
`/refactor`	Run a safe refactor loop.
`/todos`	Show the session to-do list as a card in the chat.
`/btw`	Ask a side question in the side panel without derailing the main task.
`/find`	Search the transcript (also `Ctrl+F`).
`/focus`	Toggle a quieter transcript view.

Appearance & configuration

Command	What it does
`/theme`	Show or change the colour theme (auto / light / dark).
`/settings`	Change settings without restarting.
`/config`	Show or edit configuration.
`/compose`	Write your prompt in your editor.
`/web`	Open Work — this session in a browser page served from your computer.
`/keys`	Show your key bindings and any conflicts with your terminal.

Account & usage

`/login`	Add or replace your Pathvela API key.
`/logout`	Remove the saved Pathvela API key.
`/account`	Show whether Pathvela is connected.
`/subscription`	Show your Pathvela plan and credits.
`/usage`	Where to see your Pathvela usage.
`/productivity`	Generate a shareable usage report and dashboard image.
`/support`	Email Pathvela support with diagnostics prefilled.
`/version`	Show the current version.

While the agent is running

Input	What it does
`/cancel` or `/interrupt`	Stop the current run.
